Every custom inductor starts with a drawing. Core geometry, wire gauge, turn count, tolerances. We read the full spec before we quote because the details determine everything: how long production takes, what materials we need to source, and whether the finished part will perform reliably under load. If we spot a tight winding window or a core material with long lead times, we raise it during review. That conversation upfront saves weeks later.

In magnetics, two inductors with the same footprint can behave completely differently depending on core material, winding method, and wire selection. A ferrite core and a silicon-iron core the same size will saturate at different flux densities and suit different operating frequencies. The wire gauge determines how much current the coil handles before losses become a real problem. Getting these details right at the drawing stage is what separates a part that runs for ten years from one that causes field returns. We put the time in early because our name ships with every batch.
